The BMW approved site has taken to calling the M50d an X5d M. Confusingly the new cars are still called M50d
Are they that clueless about the names of their own models or are they trying to make them sound more 'M like' I wonder?

This should have been what it was called from the beginning. Stops all the awkward questions about why 50 when in fact a 30 albeit with triple blowers.
