You never guess who's gone and blown a fuse  :o , Yhep I did  :-[ , I've taken a supply off the glove box rechargeable torch as it "was" a positive 12V , thing is now does anyone know which number fuse this item would be under as it doesn't pop (excuses the pun  :))) out at me when looking at the list of fuses behind the glove box nor at the rear fuse panel ??? , anyone know ???.

Check for 'Hand Lamp', it might be fuse 36.

I used the same point to run my Road Angel on my E53 as well.

Thanks very much for that.
Do you know what I went through that list 2-3 times but as the following fuse is something to do with the headlights so every time I saw hand my brain read it as head ::), never mind got there in the end, thanks once again

Where is the rechargeable torch ?
I didn't think the e70 had one ?
Either that or I have missed it for the last 10 months of ownership  :-[

I don't think they were supplied with the E70, and most E53s seem to have theirs missing!!  I had to pointedly ask the Dealer for mine when the car was new.  Same on the E46 as that has one too.  Sits on a little socket on the RHS of the glovebox on both cars.

I've never seen it even mentioned for the newer cars.

I haven't had mine long but don't think mine has now. Only thing in my glovebox is a cd changer.
People buy horsepower but drive torque!

My F10 didn't have one.  BMW saving a few pence on every model.
