Can anybody point me in the right direction for a set of these for my pre facelift x5 with xenons. Are the Depos xenons as well?
Cheers, Graham

Depo angel headlights?
Re: Depo angel headlights?
There are two different types of depo lights. One for hid and the other for halogen. They both look identical but only difference is the type of bulb. One for halogen takes H7 and the hid one takes D2S bulb. Obviously the one for hid is approved for hid and can withstand more heat than the other one.
I've used the galogen type for my 540i and actually used an afternatket Hid kit in it and it was fine but on the X5 i went with the HID approved one as it was the same price as the halogen type and swapped my OE xenons in it first and upgraded to 55W kit afterwards. Hope this helps

Re: Depo angel headlights?
I think that your original headlights are splittable using the oven or heat gun method
If you are wanting to fit angel eyes without the expense of new headlights then this is the way to go as I did, I have factory dipped xenons and have coverted to main beam hids as well (difference is night and day).
Somewhere in the forum is a ''how to''.
I will be at the Cosford meet so have a look at mine if interested.

Re: Depo angel headlights?
Having a quick look on the forum regarding the depo lights. I take it these are a straight swap for the standard lights on a pre-facelift to give angel eyes?
But one question. As they are coming from abroad will the beam not be pointing the wrong way?

Re: Depo angel headlights?
That can be adjusted out and with a lot of HIDs using projectors which have a flat beam pattern it is less of an issue than with lamps that have a beam pattern on the glass and that give the nearside angled beam lift.

Thanks for the reply.
Are there any sellers that are regarded as the ones to use?
