What would it be for?

Not having played around in the bay, there could be a 'modules box' under the aircon/scuttle trims which should have wiring going through it between the fuse board/interior and the engine bay as it did on the E53.  If said beastie is also on the E70 then that should give you a way through?

i'm in two minds whether to keep or sell....i love the car but the wife keeps remarking about the ride being a bit harsh...i think the answer is to get some 19" wheels and go from there....

it was a nice day today and i was bored and wanted to do somethingbwith the car..

Just bin the run flats, get some conventional tyres, and a space saver spare, or carry a tin of tyre weld , lots of cars don't come with a spare wheel anymore.
Don't believe all the bull about the suspension being set up for run flats either.
You will get a better ride. I did the same on my E60 530i, it transformed the car, better handling and much reduced noise. Rides like Bmw,s used to.
2011 Kia Sorento KX3  2.2D 60 Plate Auto in black ( mine )
