Insurance is SO subject to so many variables - NCD, occupation, miles PA, postcode, etc. It's always hard to compare with what someone else is paying. Hit the comparison sites and don't be scared to ring up your current company and tell them what you have been offered.

When we went from E91 320d to X5 3.0d there was a 'quoted' big jump (off the top of my head about £200) and in the end paid £50 different!

Good point on the runflats.  19" wheels give a gentler ride than 20" or 21" wheels.  19" wheels are standard but a lot if owners spec the 20's.  I have a set of 19" & 20" and the 19's are much more comfortable a ride.

I agree. My winters are 19s and the ride is so much better, but I have to admit the car looks better on 20s!

18" Standard on the SE, 19" on MSport, and I find them a hard ride!
