I drive
I have a 2007 x5 diesel, when I start it up the I drive doesn`t always come on and some times takes up to30 minutes, it comes on and off between times until it eventually stays on. but when I stop is back to square on again ts beginning to crack me up and has put me off the car. Does anyone have any ideas ,

Sounds like a loose or poor power connection perhaps? If it's not powering up as soon as you turn the key then that would be my first choice of things to check.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
