E53 18" winter wheels/Tyres set up

Post by kkodal78 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 11:42 pm

I've had these since 2011 summer and never had a chance to use them. It doesn't look like i will use them next year either so might as well sell them to someone who can get some usage out of them. They are used wheels and tyres with 255/55/18 pirelli scorpions on bmw wheels. I will upload some pics tomorrow. The thread depth is 5-6+mm so still life in them. Since it is 18" wheels it will fit all the E53 family to include (is) models.the wheels look oem to me but not too sure.with the wheels and tyres i will include brand new set of OEM tyre tots which i have on the wheels to cover them. My asking price is £650.

For next year?........ Still plenty of chance this season for snow. Couple of inches on the roads my way, could be as much a four inches by the morning.

Why not try ebay with a low starting price and maybe a reserve to cover yourself.

I don't suppose the wheels have the model/part codes / offsets etc. stamped on the back face?

Perhaps I'm picky, but I prefer running "roughly" the right offset to keep the suspension geometry right. :), also are they 72.56mm hub bore for the E53, I hate spigot rings, had nothing but trouble with them on VW's in the past and swore never to have badly fitting wheels ever again :)

The wheels might be going with the vehicle as i am getting my asking price. If the deal goes thru i will ask mods to lock the thread.
