I had an E39 M5 in carbon black, was jus brilliant especially the two tone seats and all the toys they come with, I had kept the M5 for 3 years until the vanos issue kicked in  >:(

But have to give it to you that M5 looks stunning! Even though the E39 started in 1996 that shape just looks dateless and IMHO I would rather have a immaculate M5 over a 2006 520d

No was special order but was my favourite colour at the time.

Pity they never made an more than one E39 M5 Touring. I gather the bosses at "M" division made one and kept it . Plus a couple of home made conversions...

With two Malamutes, a Touring or X5 make the best options .

She looks nice.  Got some bodywork to get done on mine where I scuffed the bumper  :'( and got a stone chip from a Bently trying to get away from me.  But as soon as she is all dolled up I will get more pics.
