Was pretty dull I agree.  It's a massive global cash cow now and they can't be bothered to come up with anything new / different.  A real shame.  Everything is the same, but the jokes are even more tired.  I'm looking forward to the next series of 5th gear whenever that may be.  Not perfect (what does that skinny young bloke bring?) but a whole lot better.

Wasn't too bad I guess.

I do love the new Pagani Huayra even if at £800K, I'll never ever ever own one.....LOL

Well I watched and probably had the wrong attitude as I haven't been impressed by the last couple of series, but have to admit to enjoying the hamster and captain slows pieces on the pagani and bently.  However JCs piece was unter sh1t1e!  Nothing more than an old mans foly!  No reason for the idea, went on far too long and surprised by the Dragons at allowing themselves to be drawn in to this useless feature.

I don't normally see much point of the star in a reasonable prices car, however watching last night made me jealous, as I'd love the opportunity to have a go around a nice wide track in those conditions.

My wife ruined my Top Gear viewing by wanting to talk all the way through it!

not a great fan of the pegani's interior (or some of the exterior for that matter like the 2 ears sticking out), but that was some performance!

not a great fan of the Bentley interior either but i quite liked the rallying part. extreme!

usually don't like the star in a crappy car part, but i do watch homeland so was interested in that part too..

so apart from the boring old format and the annoyance of JK and the useless 'news' i found it.. watchable.  :)) entertainment.

I enjoyed it overall. I try and view as a bit of entertainment that happens to be car related rather as a car show though!

I thaught it was ok but as above the show is getting a little old now.

What i like about 5th gear is its still more of a car show, usually couple of fast cars on a track, a supercar and a standard ish family car that people will actually buy a good all round mix.

Top gear is now all super/hyper cars and smashing things, would love to know just how much it costs to make!!

I don't think it costs that much to make - the manufacturers will sponsor the show and cover a lot of the costs.  Plus the BBC then sells it globally so it is certainly a very profitable show for them.  The three presenters will do very nicely out of it plus the annual mph show they host each year ... even James May drives a Ferrari!  Not that I'm jealous. :))

top gear is now almost as bad as the gadget show which, once upon a time long long ago, was useful and informative.
now just a bunch of prats touring the world on jollies, playing with expensive rich mans toys.
