Thanks. As I said its been a while since I have used any car forums but I was on bmwland as its start, same with BMW5. I used EVOT as well. I used to just use my initials as a username then.

Also, re: fuel filler cap. I popped in my local dealer today to pick up some rubber floor mats and a boot liner. While there I asked the about the cap and they reckon the little release (under the rubber boot) is a bit sticky so can be done sorted under warranty.

Yes, I used BMWland years ago - mainly when I had my 530d.

Then I was pretty much always on BMW5 (the 5 series owners forum).

So far I am really impressed with this forum so look forward to hanging around for a good while.

Considering you've gone to the Dark side...... I think the mods still let you in for comedy value and its always good to have an Audi driver on board to berate  :chair:
