Should be able to.  I think it limits the number of times you can do it, but that's all.  Been a while since I did it and ITunes has been updated a lot since then.  CDs are cheap enough to burn a couple and try it.... :).  If I remember correctly, it works better with CD-R rather than the CD-RW type discs.

I used this method a couple of years ago to transfer the iTunes library from 1 computer to another so might help.

iTunes burning CDs ?

I bought a 16GB USB stick and just copy them to there.  Mine is plugged into the USB port in the centre armrest, not sure if the glovebox one also works?

Glovebox one allows a permanent download for those with the CIC iDrive - can't remember the max amount of room, but it was around 8GB of the 80GB hard disk (has been increased since though).

I think Wilkoturbo still has an E53, in which case there are no USB ports.

iTunes burning CDs ?

I don't think you can burn the cd's you've bought on iTunes, that's why people get upset because you never actually own them.

You can convert cd's you've imported into iTunes to mp3 and then burn them onto disk - it's very easy and there are a number of program's that will help convert.

See if this Apple guide helps.  Apple also allowed removed DRM from tracks a while back - as long a you buy the DRM Free version, or bought it after whenever the system changed.  My earlier tracks won't play on other kit, but the ones bought in the last couple of years or so are fine.
