Indeed, but I can see it being in the way on RHD cars as the iphone will get on the way when 'docked'. Alright on LHD cars though.

Is the whole gear shifter not transposed to the other side for RHD cars (i.e mirror image of puc shown). Should be OK for RHD cars too...

Sorry but is this not just a dock with an extension cable hanging out the back into USB or y cable? How is this better than a DIY job on blank central cubbyhole phone holder mod or just a 4 quid adapter 30 pin to lightning thingy? That is unless it provides connection to in car aerial....
