London helicopter crash
London helicopter crash
Just watching the news reports of the London helicopter crash. Tragic. Thoughts go out to family and friends affected. Helicopter pilot community must be a small one - so must be a particular shock to Don. Hope you're okay mate.

All okay here, thanks. Scary situation for all involved, and listening to local builders about to climb the crane, they certainly had fate on their side.

Re: London helicopter crash
Is all a little too close to home.....is only a mile up the road, can see the tower from the park where i was walking the dogs.......has come down next to my other halfs head office......fortunately not there today and very close to where friends live and walk to work.
Im amazed it wasnt busier and the injury and death toll hasnt been a lot higher.
It would appear that something has gone very wrong

I'm in the square mile and when I saw the news, I must admit I was surprised they were even flying. Looking at the window this morning, most of the tall buildings were above the cloud line.
Tragic but looks like it could have been a lot worse.

Don likes to go by the name 'Susie' when flying so the colour scheme actually suits. )

Re: London helicopter crash
That is a picture of the type of helicopter I fly, but one I got of the web. The boss is a very private person and certainly wouldn't like to see pictures of his helicopter on here. So in the interest of continued employment you're stuck with the girlie colour scheme.
