This is the exact reason my M5, the X5, 530d, etc, etc have all been pre March '06. £245 for the 4.8is so I'm happy.

Just bought another 12 months for the X35d here in Canada. $74 for the year, which at 1.6 dollars to the pound makes it about 46 quid for the year. Helps offset the higher insurance charges!

whew....my 4.8 has just been taxed at £245.......so glad I didn't go for a 3.0D then
