Well I did post a topic on this but the car decided to do it again.....so I took it into Synter Sunningdale as the guys there have always been good.
It turned out I needed some kind of module which heats the glow plugs up as that was faulty. However in the same breath he also said that they had rounded off the bolts on the EGR valve and broken my Oil cooler (the small bracket) lol. The oil cooler is on back order so that means i'll now have to wait another week to get the car back. But I am picking up a manual 116 from them tomorrow lol!
I also got the side view camera replaced under warrenty and the passanger door handles CAS wasnt working thats another 6 weeks for the handle !!. I'm not sure why a handle takes 6 weeks to come through...there reply was becuase it has to be painted lol!
Anyway i'll wax up the one series before I give it back to them....i'll resist modding it!
I dont really mind as I dont use th ecar much and its nice to know that the service chap I use keeps me informed and doesnt mind the fact that the car i smodded so any new parts I can get under warrenty is always good...I wonder if their break anything else lol!

Re: Cold Start Issue update
Good news, always reassuring to see a dealer owning up to breaking something. Six weeks for the door handle does seem extreme but must be right as I find BMW do tend to get parts delivered ASAP.

yeah I'm glad they didnt just bodge it back together, if a dealer is honest about something i dont have an issue, its when you get home and something isn't right that I get a bit pissed off lol. But I think he knows i go over the car with a fine toothe brush before taking it back!
I may order some angel eyes to feel better!
