When re paired, only offered to pair as telephone. Set messages filter to 'all messages'. iPhone 4S. Is that correct?

I will double check tonight, but I think the X5 had Telephone and Audio and my wife's X1 also had Data - I presumed this was because I have the Internet option on my X5.

What I found is you have to wait quite a while sometimes for all options to appear e.g after you pair the phone, the show notifications option under Bluetooth options doesn't appear straight away (pic below)??

Update 1006 only works on cars built in 2011 onwards.  For cars prior to that, the latest version currently is 1005.  Mine was done during the 'Security Update' a few weeks back.

Should you want to do it yourself, access is via the Owners Section of the BMW UK site.  You need the last 7 of your VIN and then you'll get the latest version for your car.

Weird. Put my chassis number in again and 1005 is given as latest update. Yesterday it gave me 1006!!

I think it's for those BMW models with 'Connected drive' systems - aka the current iDrive - installed

Weird, got 3wk old X5. Says latest update 1005 as opposed to 1006

I get 1005 via BMW UK but if I do it from the .com international site it gives me 1006.

Mine working fine on 1006.  Am still trying to figure out the email side of things though.
