Hi All,
Went to change the bulb for the reg plate light in the boot lid and found that one of the wires next to the bulb on the passenger side had corroded and come loose. Can this be fixed or do you have to replace the whole back section where the lights are attached?? Also the parking light/ side light has also flashed up on the dash, do you have to remove the head light unit to get to this bulb/ bulbs?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Reg Plate Light
Re: Reg Plate Light
Solder the number plate light wire back. The 4 torx screws will allow you to get the unit off the car. Don't pull too hard once the screws are out - you need to get the last connector behind that piece unplugged. Then easier to do indoors.
The parking/side lights could be a bad contact - common fault. You can change the bulb without removing the whole cluster. But check the bulb holder contact first.
