which digital compact camera? must be some photographers on here .....?

Post by awj85 » Sun Dec 23, 2012 10:14 pm

had a last minute thought ........... my wife dropped into coversation a while back that she will buy a new digital camera soon as her old one broke.

which one shall i buy her tomorrow from currys (or similar) for Christmas?  :xmaskiss:
criteria ............must be 14+ megapixels, best zoom possible for budget, other than that not too fussy .... any ideas?
any brands to avoid?

oh budget ........ £100

Optical zoom more important than digital one as that deforms whilst the optical is done via the lens.

Panasonic Lumux is a great camera that Mrs PVR uses.

i just posted soemthing related here..

if you want compact, i would give the Samsung Galaxy cam a consideration.

tbh, i never thought samsung for cams until i saw this, but then we never thought much of them until recently anyways.. even for mobiles! The Galaxy is pretty advanced!
