hi
i have fitted flaps to several car ive had and must say the x5 is the easiest, just need a small spanner 8mm i think to remove one of the inner arch fixings and a stubby screwdriver to fix the self tappers , an ordinary phillips driver would be ok if you remove the wheels , but with the stubby it fits between the tyre and the arch.the inner arch fixing then goes back in through the mudflap. think it was as easy as that but maybe someone will correct me . hope this helps
good luck

Not if you have wheel arch flares. Mudflaps can only be fitted to non-flared arches.
