The new X5 having the 8 speed box would be an improvement over your old X5 as well.

There's only a coule of Audi Dealers in NI and I have found them a little too ridged for my liking.  Looked at an A5 drop top a few years ago.  Car was around 35k.  Told the dealer that if the discount was right I would purchase there and then.  After much sucking through teeth they gave me their best price by far (according to the sales manager) a massive £250 off!!!!

I turned on my heels, walked across the road a brought a 6 Series Drop Top.  All my cars have been BMW since.  I know I'm  :offtopic: but had I been treated right I could be on my third Audi by now.  ::)  I should be thanking the sales team at Audi. I nearly made a massive mistake.  O:-)

Yeah never driven an 8 speeder (until this coming Wednesday anyway!) and I would hope an LCI does improve the car a bit!

The Audi dealer have always been much much better than any BMW dealer I have dealt with

Luck of the draw I guess!

Dealers, non of them are 100% great. Some may have a great sales department, others great parts or servicing. Never found one that had all three though.

Although compared to Abarth or VW dealers I use, the BMW dealers are angels ...

I agree although mine ticks all of those boxes although I'm sure it doesn't go right all of the time

Wifey had a Q7 3.0 S Line 58 plate with all the toys for 3 years and it was pitiful when compared to her X5 40d.  With the Audi it was all wait wait wait - turbo break your neck off, with Range Rover-esque lolling in corners.  Interior was good and it was roomy inside even with all 7 seats in use, but in a different [lower] league than the Beemer, and a lot slower too.  Maybe the new one is an improvement but it would have had to have come an awful long way, more than a mere LCI update could afford, for me.  Sorry, but blunt is my middle name!
Hope your proper car turns up soon ;-)

nice car i'm sure. i like the q7 in general although it seems a bit too large for this country.. this one particularly looks looooong, seems to keep going forever lol.. no wonder its comfy inside!

i like audi in general, i think they drive great and are great build quality. my next preference after bmw...

one design thingy i really dislike is their recent love affair with spotty rows of LEDs, including on the q7.  if they want to light up a line they should diffuse the damn leds to make it appear as a 'line', not show a series of spots.. how bling is that..

The latest audis have smarter LED lighting now which is just a row of lights not a load of dots which I agree so not look great!
