Wandering all over
My facelift 3.0D seems to wander all over the road, depending on the road surface. No uneven tyre wear, goes in a straight line on a marble smooth road, no clunks/clonks/rattles, no judder. But any bumps in the road seem to pitch it in a different direction. Any suggestions to which bushes etc need changing?

What size tyres are you running, have you got the normal staggered set up 285/19 rear and 255/19 up front.?
I have heard that some owners put 285's all round, and that can lead to the car tramlining and wandering all over the road.
I bought a 325 from Williams BMW E46, and that was shocking. It would pull you wherever the road wanted.
When it came to changing the front tyres it was a different car, sorted the problem out. I reckon the tyres were rotated just before we bought it and being on the rear had worn them funny. (going off track now !!! )
