just going through some old pictures from last winter. Found these two from last December.
Leaving for work at 06:30 & the temp was...
Can you better that? i'm sure you can....
Also, on a return run trip to Angelsey last Dec i checked my over all MPG, which read -
Not bad considering it was 4 up, with luggage and a springer!
sorry about the poor images, i was shaking at the time!

1985, Bordon, Hampshire -19C. It was so cold that two of the bolts holding the front nearside wing on my 1300 Maestro snapped. This was actually one of those good fortune moments as it was a Government car and identified that good 'ol BL had built the front of the car out of square so putting bolts under high stress. The cold did for them and the car had to go to a body shop to have everything ahead of the firewall taken off, realigned and put back again. The car was three months old!!
'orrible little car! By the time it had 24,000 miles on it, the Red Arrows could have used it as a mobile smoke generator due to the amount of oil it burned. Coming down off the South Downs at Goodwood on the overrun always resulted in a massive smoke screen when power was reapplied at the bottom. Good bit of British craftmanship

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Re: How low have you been?
I'll see how low it gets this winter in Canada. I definitely recall -20 celcius last year on several occasions.

Re: How low have you been?
Over Christmas last year in Kazakhstan, we stepped out into -53 degrees. That same day at site it topped -60... It has been known in previous years to be colder than -75 too with the wind chill factor. I have some photo's somewhere of a Temperature Guage being at -47.
Glad I work here in a nice warm office!

This was taken in Feb 2010 - I'm sure it was colder but this is the only photo I took of the temp guage.
Was really impressed with the X though, started every day without fail and this was when the temperature didn't get above zero for about 6 weeks - that's Scotland for ya!!
