I guess that's their way of saying 'yeah we did it, but it wasn't our employee's fault'.
Some insurers are now expecting customers to tell them of any claim of any type even if it wasn't your fault and someone else paid the bill!! Any bl@@dy way to fleece the punter.

Exactly as my response in Mjim's thread. Insurance companies really are a law unto themselves.

They didn't ask to see the video evidence at all or the receipt for the glass replacement. They just asked if I had proof of payment and that was it.
