I bought some horsebox lining mats for my garage/sheds.  These are 1" thick rubber with ribs one side and dots the other (ribbed sides make jetwashing easier when dirty).  They are 2.0m x 1.2m and are 50 quid each.  They are *very* heavy (2 man lift each) and are worth considering for this kind of job when you weigh up the costs.  Cut easily enough with a jigsaw.

:))  Bought own clippers years ago....No finesse, (or grades), involved - just metal to scalp.

Good thinking.  Did the same when it became a race between mine going grey or falling out....

Units delivered, on crates etc. Except they did not fit through the garage opening

So .. a broken back later, I have shuffled them more or less in place.

Now - just need a volunteer to help me put the higher units up on the brackets as I can not lift them by myself and fit them as well.

What, no forks for your tractor?  Bit pointless having square pipes if you've nothing to fit them when jacking up the back end..... >:D

Looking good though....very posh for a man cave.

They do look good, now for the TV and sofa and the the den will be complete.

Throw in return flights, accommodation and all the food I can eat and I'm you man to help hang the cupboards, I'll even bring my own hammer drill!  ::)

No drill required, they are self carrying on the brackets attached to the bottom units. That is the nice thing about these units that they are "free" standing without the risk of pulling a wall down.

I just need some dumb weight lifter, so you would fit in perfectly. I would have asked X5Sport, but he can only lift a feather weight.

It's no fun not being able to even lift your man bag........and I now have to see the Surgeon again apparently.  Wrong steel in the bolts probably..... :cry1:

Are you going for 7.1 or 9.1 sound, and a 4K projector?

Now that re-visit is not funny at all. Is there a problem?

Unfortunately..... :cry1:  Nothing as serious, but the warranty is needed :'(. I should have known from this forum, that if it's all in bits, do BOTH sides..... :(.  Just my blasted luck...... :)

Was a certain, uh, activity which resulted in X5MiniSport to blame for this?  O:-)
