Admiral to punish 'Driver Awareness Course' takers

Post by X5Sport » Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:53 am

Got Admiral Insurance?  Taken a Drivers Awareess Course in place of the fine & penalty points?  Well now you'll get hit in the pocket at next renewal.....despite what you may be told by the Authorities.....

BBC News Linky

These insurers are just out to get people any way they can now.  Being cynical, I suppose they know they're going to get hit by the Government investigation into premiums so are looking for a new wheeze......

well that defeats the object, when i did mine because of the authority i got done by i had to travel 50 miles to the closest course pay £90 for it and take a day off work i thaught it would benifit me, in future i might as well just take £60 and 3 points!

I try to remain with in 10mph of the speed limit.  Only had one speeding fine and low and behold I was doing 75 in a 60 zone. That's what happens when you break a golden rule!  ::)
