Re: TV in motion
I've always wondered why? Is it to Let the passenger watch the TV/DVD? Would you not be distracted whilst driving?
Land Rover have introduced a duel screen allowing the nav to be seen by the driver and the passenger to see the DVD.

You can get it coded in the CIC System (though no Dealer will do it for you), and the question is still valid, why do you need it? And if the driver can see it whilst driving, illegal (audio is OK). Digital coverage whilst moving is less than ideal and it's probably easier (and cheaper) to buy a separate DVD player for passengers.
There is a BMW Coding Forum that will no doubt be able to tell you what flag you need to set from Nicht Activ to Activ. The folks over there have got up to all sorts of tricks inside the car coding.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Just one of those whims I get from time to time (last one resulting in an X6M50d)
Listening to news and progs basically.; I already have rear DVDs for the sproglets.
I prefer sitting comfortably in my den when viewing episodes of Grimm, OUAT, Supernatural, Fringe or Continuum

Just get it coded. Shouldn't be a problem.
