Head gasket?
Is the head on a 2002 3.0i petrol known for any head issues I checked the oil the other day and a lot of mayo looking stuff was around the filler cap the thing is its not losing coolant not overheating and is driving spot on could it possibly be just moisture built up as the car only does around five miles a day during the week and a bit more at the weekend

it will probly just be condensation from the cold weather and short runs

Hi mate
These are not prone for headgasket problems and if they do go its normaly associated with overheating.
I have a 3.0i also and mine has this symptom this time of year also , I have seen loads like it so dont worry.
Might be a good idea to keep an eye on the oil and coolant levels but as said I would not worry , had mine for 5 years and always been the same.
