I hope you get your heater fixed before you take me for a drive, Jay.
You'll be bored once the investigations are over.

I received the glow plug kit today, did a quick check and there was definite difference in resistance between the new and old glow plug, so I pulled the webo off the car, fitted the new plug, cleaned inside the burner, cleared all error codes, applied 12v to pin 1 and hey presto it burst into life . Car blowers went on and eventually started blowing hot, I've not enabled aux heating and I'm not going to either.
I've just come back from Maplins with a 12v remote which I'll start fitting today.
I also picked up a solar charger they had on special (£9.99) to continuously trickle charge the car.
Oh and a set of heated inner soles for me cycling shoes lol (it's getting bloody cold now)
Massive thanks for all the help esp Jaynana & Alan for that glow plug spot on ebay

fantastic result!
i bet you can't wait to get the remote bit done.. that is such a simple thing really compared to getting the webo sorted.
i'm selling my maplin remote, as i've upgraded to this gsm remote. bit more pricy but fantastic kit and really worth it in terms of the freedom it provides.. highly configurable as well the site does't do justice for it..

Yeah, can't wait to get the remote done, don't think I have time tomorrow, so I think it's gonna have to wait till next weekend. That GSM unit looks mint, might upgrade to something like that later on if I feel the need
Lol yeah, I'd just come back from a 30 miler this morn and it took about 20 mins for the blood to return to my feet, I was stood in maplins looking for the remote and they had this big stack of heated inner soles, I thought it rude not to try them, I'll let you know if they work or not as I have always had trouble keeping my toes warm, yeah they're battery powered lol

If you search the UK ebay for 9017813A but put worldwide as the search param you'll get the exact same advert but all the buttons in English, yes just use ebay, I didn't need to speak a word of French to buy it, he's obviously quite happy posting to the UK, took 5 working days to arrive.
Try this link:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Webasto-Gluhk ... 20cd2869b2
Yip it's a MTB (hardtail), but don't really do much mountain stuff, more trails/railway lines just to keep fit

We're gonna need a cycle forum lol, I had a Scott Spark 35 which was stolen outside work last year (uninsured too ), I've bought a crappy Giant Rincon to use as my work bike and am planning on getting a nice hardtail (Scott Scale 20 etc) this Xmas
My old Spark:

Awesome mate - so my find was a good one! Want to come and fix mine now - got the plug but no time (how long did it take?). I then have the IHKA fault to deal with.

Same one you have referring to a changeover valve. I believe (I could be wrong) the car is looking for it because we enabled the on board monitor by retrofitting the auxiliary heating.
I have a feeling when I change the glow plug - it still may not fire up until I find out exactly what's causing that fault and fixing it
