Looking great  8)

You see X5Sport, yours could look good as well if you washed it  >:D

Even clean wheel barrow handles look better than your dirty ones  :P

Get back in your 'man cave' you!!  You need to add the space for the currently missing Fiat.... :P

And cleaning mine is a bit of a challenge as I'm 6,000 miles away!!  Water pressure will be a bit low, and by the looks of things it's bl@@dy freezing in the UK!!

Love the X6 - looks like a good detail....I wonder how long it will keep clean during the winter months though  ;)

Nice dog as well, shouldn't think you have many problems with strangers around your neck of the woods!

What did do do to it detailing wise as it looks very very nice?

I need to do mine soon and would appreciate any pointers.

Thanks

Mark

lol hi mark

number one you need to wash it (or use something called snowfoam), if you havent got snow foam then use the 2 bucket system to wash the car
Dry it off
Then panel by panel use a clay bar to take off any crap (even though it looks clean the paint wont be clean) this will make the paint nice and smooth (but dull)
Do you have a polish machine? if so dependingon how bad the swirl marks are start to use a swirl removing paste to get rif of them (Poorboys do a variety depends ho wbad the paint is)
After that you can then start to polish the car
Then Glaze the car (depends what colour the car is but if its a dark shade use something like Poorboys Black hole)
Then after some glaze use some wax (poorboys butter wax)
Then use some jetseal
You can then by hand appy some hard wax mabe colinite or P21

For the wheels use IRONX that stuff is good, then use something like poorboys wheel wax and poorboys tyre gel (work the gel in or as soon as you drive it foes up the side of your car)
For the exhaust use some metal polish.  This should keep you busy for the weekend :-)

Poor guy being able to smell all those doggie babes who'd been there earlier in the day, and yet never any sign of them.  No wonder he goes nuts!

Thanks, I have everything bar the polish. Was thinking about going down the Megs 105/205 route, but looking at yours, I am tempted to try the Poorboys now.

Regards

Same as yours, which is why I am seriously thinking of going down the same route.
