3m Ventureshield paint protection

Post by snipez999 » Sat Nov 03, 2012 11:13 am

Have this on the 40d and looking to add to the 50d also.  My last kit was shipped in from USA and fitted by my local bodyshop.  Thought I would enquire with local 3m fitter round here - 600 quid plus VAT.  EBay supplier from the States charged me 175 quid including shipping, and threw in free headlight kit and extras -this is self same 3M Ventureshield laser cut kit (they only do 2 kits for the X6, I reviewed both before buying) - last time was 80 quid for fitting.
Just wondering how people can justify a 100%+ mark up?!?

I had the R32 bumper piece on a previous Golf I had. It was superb stuff. It is expensive here but I guess that's te way of our fair country.

Got a link to supplier as would consider some for my E53.

I used Armourfend. They did a v good job, and cost is pretty similar by the look of things. I think they all use the same 3M film?
