A working ZX81 is probably quite a rare toy now, I have fond memeories of assembling my ZX80 (showing my age now eh!!)

Got to admit a 56 plate with 22k is a find. Don't mind admitting buying from a main dealer at the end of the month (I paid for the car today so they can include it in this month's sales figures!!) definitly contribuited to getting me a deal!! 2nd year BMW approved used car warranty for free with MOT insurance cover too, two years tyre insurance also gratis, and a job list from me as long as your arm (because I'm a fussy f :noexpression: :noexpression: k) and some discount off the overall selling price because I had no part exchange!!

Just for the record there is no shortage of toys too: -
481  Kalahari Beige
672  CD changer
V9HC  Light Beige-Exclusive Nappa Leather
2KD  V-Spoke Style 168 9.
205  Automatic Gearbox
248  Steering wheel heating
249  Multi-function contr
255  Sport Steering Wheel
261  Airbags. rear side
328  Running boards. aluminium
358  Climate Comfort wind
4NA  Rear-view mirror with compass
402  Panoramic glass sunroof
423  Floor mats. velour
430  Ext. mirrors - folding
437  Light Poplar Wood Trim
456  Comfort seats. front
459  Elec Fr Seats + Driver Memory
464  Through-loading ski (I so need this!!!)
494  Seat heating. front
522  Bi Xenon Headlights
601  TV function
609  Navigation System
612  BMW Assist
633  Enhanced Bluetooth
672  CD changer
676  Loudspeaker system - Business
761  Sun protection glass
330  Dynamic package

Only downside, absolutely bog standard stereo, no DSP and no subwoofer  :o. But think the spare wheel can get junked, and will fit something in the hole it leaves behind!! Or dig a little deeper into this company who make an aftermarket sub that fits in place of an original BMW sub!! Ho hum ideas, ideas! Might play about with the parking heating to see if that wants to play at warmy warmy X5ey X5ey too now winters here (have read plenty on here about that!!).

2 sleeps & a breakfast!!!!

Welcome from Lincolnshire. Looking forward to seeing the photos. Wish I had the mirror compass in mine as I have no natural sense of direction. The one in my TD5 was a Godsend.

Welcome Riddo,

I've had few E53s and loved the car, you should too, especially with little more than delivery miles on her. Looking forward to the pics.

That is a really nice spec. Comfort seats are superb and steering wheel heating is a nice addition and just in time.

I wouldn't worry about DSP and go aftermarket as I have/am.

Fabulous looking car - enjoy it! I even really like the colour. Does that mean I'm transitioning to old man ??!!  :))
