x5 m50d

Post by shadrack » Tue Oct 23, 2012 4:31 pm

Just passed one on the a66 in middlesbrough and all I can say is I think they need a bigger boot to fit the badge on! As I was approaching it from behind I was thinking nooooooo someones stuck one of them poundworld\halfords ///Mpower badges to a nice e70 sport then when got there it said x5 m50d but took about 1ft of the boot!

I agree it's getting a bit silly by the time you've added the type and model and that it's got xdrive too!! Mine is de-badged - not that I have an 'M' of course, but it would still be de-badged if I did.

Besides that, it means the muppet behind has either run into you because he/she was tailgating to read it, or was so engrossed in reading War & Peace on the boot-lid they failed to notice the brake lights!!

Love it.

I'd prefer Md on the back if anything.  I'm not going to say that it doesn't justify a pukka M badge to the extent that any SUV does - 0-62 in a shade over 5 seconds is mighty and close to the E46 M3 circa 2000, and not that far behind the X5 M.  Certainly justifies an M badge more than my 40d that has M badges on all the interior door plates!  ;)

For you maybe!  :))

For me it would have to be uMplyD ....    The bank I'd been working at recently is going to be wound up so I've bailed.  And that was after being hired by RBS from a position I'd been in for 15 years just as it all went ti*s up.  They don't call me lucky for nothing  >:(.  Lol.

Not to mention that bigger wheels can give you spinal injuries.

Keep this up PVR and you'll have to send yourself a warning for thread hijacking, along with X5Sport and myself I guess.

I've bought the special X6M50d Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch edition.  The lettering starts on the NSF wing.......
