Yay i'm an idiot- screenwashers

Soo, I went to fill up my screen wash the other day. The cap wasn't attached properly and fell into the engine block, needless to say I couldn't get it out. I didn't think this was a problem as its only screen wash so i carried on regardless, it worked fine for a while, i forgot about it and didn't source a new one. Now today i fill up my screen wash, the rear jet works fine but nothing AT ALL is coming out of the fronts... Helpz what did I do? e53 4.4

Could be crud in the bottom of the bottle blocking the pump filter for the rear jet.

Have a look at the bottom picture here for the pump locations.

If all else fails then you may have to remove the front jet to flush the pipe through.  If you are careful, you can try gently pumping compressed air back from the nozzle end to the tank, but take the pump out anyway....
