I mentioned the naff angel eye bulbs to the dealer and asked if BMW offer an upgrade to which I was reminded of my warranty T&Cs!  >:(

It's called the LCI Model!!  You can buy the new lights but you'll need a mortgage!!  Even on a new build they are a £1,600 option for the LED lighting, although the LED rings are now standard.

There really isn't anything out there that comes close.

First impressions are good. The ride is not too harsh even on my local country roads and the handling is superb. The toys are great although the reversing camera is going to take some getting used to as I nearly swiped the back of my wife's car as I backed up the drive.  :'(

I tried parallel parking just using the camera with the assist lines on but gave up in the end and went old school with the mirrors. It is fun to worry other parked cars though by folding the side mirrors in and reversing up to their car while turning the car round. :)) Oh and only just found out they automatically "unfold" at just below 30mph.

Not had any issues with my LED angel eyes with dealers on both the e92 335i and the X6 and they were put in the same day I picked the X6 up.

Oh and . . .Image

Hi Finglonga

Mmm, not sure how much of a gizmo the camera is. I'm sure I will make use of it once I start playing with it, especially as my wife has nicknamed the car Beyonce (as in her with the voluptuous bottom!).

I am interested in your choice of angel eye bulb replacements. Do you have any info and even better any pics?

And yes I will put up pics once I can get a snap in daylight. Promise.

Thanks shadrack. I'll have a look on the mm website and see what they have. Trouble is I always end up finding something else to buy when I visit this type of site.  ::)!

Beyonce . . . Love it.

Pics of mine and others on >this< topic. Very hard to see the true brightness though. I am yet to get an owner with LCI lights so I can do a side by side comparison.

Seen one of the LCI versions around here, and they're the same as the E70, so that's a good comparison if you can find one.

And I use the 'all round vision' as well as the reversing camera!!  These things are W..I..D..E  ;). Rear visibility is not good, and with no rear wiper - even worse in wet weather!
