i am a newbie here and only have had my x5 for 3 days i am trying to activate camera alerts on the sat nav .i have the latest disk and have tried it in my friends x5 and its works great
please could someone tell me how to activate this in mine i have volume control but my menu page is different set up from my friends help needed its driving me daft
both x5s are facelift models

He/she has a different firmware on their car compared to yours...
You'll need the same discs to make this work. They are illegal and not discussed openly on the forum (please use PM to get round this).
Your friend might have the disc - called a v32 disc...

Hi Sanj i am the friend Dunk244 mentioned, we put the sat disc from my car into his car but it only works in mine for some reason ,

Are you both on facelift cars (both have the DVD based SatNav)?

A Dealer........all other 'options' breach Forum Rules. OEM Firmware CDs were about £10 last time I got one.
