Drove the new triple turbo X5 today

Post by 535dboy » Thu Oct 04, 2012 7:03 am

Was invited to a BMW M day at brands day

Got to hoon around the circuit in all of their m cars including race prepped M3 and also got a hot lap with Andy Prilaux

Drove all the usual suspects including a timed slalom with new M135i

They also had new X50d. Have to say I was quite impressed withthe effortless speed it offered and it didn't feel as bad on track as you would think

It was a good day, have one in a couple of weeks at millbrook for the RS4 launch
Currently :
2012 Audi RS4 (B8)
2012 Porsche Boxster S (981)
2008 Lotus Exige S (a bit modified!)
2015 Nissan Leaf twin turbo with Nitros

Previously :
2008 BMW X5 3.0sd MSport
2005 BMW 535d MSport

Oh gawd, how did you get a passport & visa to get into this neck of the woods?!  You're only a few miles from me.  Need to camouflage everything now.....

Seriously, I hope you get to play in Lane 5 in the 'bowl'. 155mph+ is proper 'hooning'.. :drive:

You'll only be allowed in if you bring your paint roller and brushes - there's decorating to be done .... :))
