I've been toying with putting the Philips Daylight 8's on mine too.  IF I can get the LCI foglights to fit as they look better.  Just need to find the prices for the replacement parts - and a budget!!  :(

That'll put me in the 'no taste' club too - but it's membership is at least distinguished... :)) >:D

Can we not keep the w4#ker name? Just 90% of other road users call all us x drivers that anyway so we should go with that! :-)

I was un decieded and it got to the point when was making the bar were it was now or never so I gave them a bash, as I said I didn't fancy them on all the time so I wired them off the side lights and though the nc side of a relay so there only ever on with the angel eyes! If only we could all get mega bright angel eyes the world would be so much better

Whilst the excellent photoshopping makes the items & car look good I'd personally keep it standard & run with headlamps on unless bright skies and high sun. Not sure on what can be programmed on your car but would consider having lights on 24/7.

Tbh I tend to drive on dipped headlamps as above as mindful of visibilty associated risks of driving dark cars against a tarmac backdrop. Auto illumination threshold on my E53 prefacelift is just a little too tolerant of poor light for my liking.

Certainly MY2011 X6's have front and rear DRLs installed by default (they're on my Week 40 2010 build) - though you can program them out.

Or Mini Countryman being an MY2012 has dipped HIDs as the DRLs, again programmed on or off via the Mini Connected system - or whatever the iDrive is called!!

Go on, you know you want to.

I think a subtle and tasteful install of some not too bright and too long DRL's would help the front IMO. May be worth getting some cheaper ones which you could temp fix to see if you like them, and fit or dispose of as required.

At the end of the day - it's your car, your choice :)
