i'm loving this software. so far i've been able to configure the following:

1) the aux. heating activated - will have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out if the webasto actually works

2) the doors automatically lock when i start moving

3) the front parking sensors turn on automatically when i slow down. well actually when i'm almost at a complete stop, but that's good enough.

I'll try and put a how-to together next weekend

Just reading through this thread for the first time. A whole new world & now my head hurts.  :hypo:

Anyone local to Kettering Northamptonshire with a scanner that could turn on my TV in Motion?

We're completely Apple Mac at ArthurSleep towers so not sure there's any point in me getting one of these units.

Tv in motion is pointless... Doesn't work in motion due to fluctuating signal.  Only benefit really is not putting the hand brake on while watching tv which will only happen realistically in slow moving traffic.  If you get caught youll get done too.

My scanner is on its way and I have a quick question: Do I need a laptop or can a desktop do just as well?
Not clear to me as there seem to be a disk for the program and a tool that plugs in the OBD?
I have a laptop but it is running linux at the moment and I am pretty sure that would not work.

Scanner plugs in between car and pc so you'll need a laptop.  Will work on a desktop too but you'll have to set it up next to the car lol
