Hi all on my old 3GS if I wanted to see my emails I would have to tap the mail logo , but this 4s they keep on popping up as tx all the time and wasting my usage a month how can I turn it off ??

Go to settings - mail contacts, calenders - fetch new data - and turn off push

Saves on battery as well. I have set mine to fetch every 15 minutes.

get yourself a blackberry - sorts out emails nicely and instantaniously with no battery drain or any other issue.
only issue is it just about can't do anything else apart from emails!! :rant:
