Bc button

Post by CondorX5 » Wed Aug 15, 2012 6:35 am

Hi Karl, good to see another 4.8is in Le Mans Blue around ( even if its not the ultra rare Le Mans black! ).  Its a really good looking beast, hope the niggles are sorted soon. I love mine.

Car back from indy some good some bad.

The good, x5 has had a clean bill of health described as a very good one requires nothing.

The bad, dealer not yet registered warranty due to rep being on holiday so unfortunately bc button and pdc's not sorted yet, but simple fixes one rear corner sensor and new indicator stalk required which should be covered under warranty. The diagnostic fee not covered so £80 bill, better than the £150 plus vat and fitting on the stalk and sensor.

Say what..?  That's a new excuse!!  No way I would let anyone get away with that one.

The warranty should be registered Monday and the jobs sorted later in the week.

Yes the dealers excuse was a new one on me.

Diagnostics should only be chargeable if the faults aren't covered under warranty.
