has anyone got any idea how to upload the speed camera poi's omto the new bmw hdd system

The maps are encrypted .. so it's not possible (so far).

It's easier to use summat like a camera safety system like a Road Angel, Snooper or Novus or similar device as they are more up to date and you can add new ones every time you see one.  Some update 'live' via a mobile phone connection so you aren't reliant on someone producing another look-up reference file to drop into the map databases.

They're probably cheaper too - BMW want £200 a time for new maps and these detectors are cheaper...
