So to cheer myself up I traded my (well hers really) EOS 50D for a new 5D Mk3 and some new glass.....

What a result i paid £680 in May

New air filter for the X, and a litre of oil.  The filter cant have been changed for an age judging by the look of it.  All from euro with 30% off too.

I checked my separator whilst in there, and it was a shiny and clean vortex type, yey.

i bought a webasto for my e53 from a breaker, hooked it up yesterday, happily turned it on really excited by now, guess what - it showed an error on the glow plug :wall:  >:D

not my blo0dy day!!


reported back to the seller, a replacement will come on monday.

which means i have to remove it from the car and put my original back so that i can exchange it with the replacement!! and then when the replacemnet comes in i have to fix it again!!

at least i hope that solves the issue.
