Blond moment on equipment in car

Just found out tonight if you lay your finger over they designate buttons on the stereo it tell you what that button was designated to without pressing it , didn't know that with all the bm's I've owned .

What a numpty  :-[
Current- sapphire black 40d
Past- silver e70 4.8 se , aero kit, 21" 162 alloys
Past- space grey 535d
Past- imola red e53 4.8is
Past- carbon black e53 3.0d

Not a numpty at all......we've had 4 BMWs and it only works on my current X6.  I can never remember what mine are set to apart from the one with 'TP On/Off' on it though :-[

FWIW I set mine to my most used phone numbers in my 7, and 1 is home address , works fine !

Use mine for satnav location and phone numbers. Great feauture.

If you have designated a button say chosen radio station , cd , phone what ever and you can't remember what it does just lay your finger over it , don't press it and it will tell you what is designated to that button on the main screen .
Then press it if you want it .
