Michelin Latitude Tour HP

Post by leosayer » Mon Aug 06, 2012 10:50 pm

Anyone running this tyre?

I'm looking for something (on 18") that isn't run flat that is road and comfort biased with a moderate ability to cope on grassy slopes and snow, so an all-season really.

The Michelin seems to fit the bill.

All opinions welcome.

Hi
I run VReds, Wintrac Extremes as winter tyres, A1 in snow, Classed as a M+S tyres,( mud and snow.)
They say you can use all year round, I may leave them on next summer as the ride is so good. Excellent in the wet too, and feel as good as my summer tyres in the dry but a quieter ride.
Im on 19,s. sure they do them in 18's aswell
Look on "Tyremen" website for a good deal, and quick delivery, had them sent to my local fitters direct.
Read up on the internet on the independant reviews before you buy any tyres though.

Wintracks are proper winter tyres and have a snowflake in a mountain symbol to denote this.  Any m+s tyre with out this mark are general all weather tyres

Thanks.

I'm not sure about running winter tyres all year, but thanks for the heads up on Vredestein they do an all season tyre called Quatrac which looks perfect.

Is anyone running on those?

I ended up with Conti 4x4 Contact which is an M&S tyre.

I've done 700 miles on them so far and they are quiet and ride much better compared to the Conti run flats that were on before. It's only been dry roads so far, but I'm happy.

What have done about a spare?  Or have you got a reinflation kit?

I bought a spare wheel kit as I have the 5 seater. I don't think I would have switched if I didn't have room for the spare.
