Welcome aboard/back.

They are both lovely examples of the 4.8.

Kav (westside) went from an Imola Red 4.8 to an E70 4.8 also. Both were well modded. Think the interior is Champagne on the Imola one.

As for colour coding, personally keep it as is for a while but then maybe colour code. I personally think colour coded will look good, but then I have better vision than the rest of this motley crew....lol

To be honest I preferred the 4.8is , it had a throaty exhaust note than the currant 4.8 .but saying that it's still a beast .

I don't think it's as quick off the mark , and it's certainly feels bigger ,it's the first thing I said to the wife when we got it .
Don't know if that was the case coming from a 5series but in checking figures I'm sure from memory it a few inches longer and slightly wider as well .

Still a very nice drive , but over the 2 I'd have the 4.8is

Welcome.

The old site was before my X ownership, so I can't welcome you back, just along  ;)

Saw a red E53 in the metal for the first time the other day.  Yours looked great, love the interior too.

It's good to hear you'd still have the 4.8is as makes me even happier to own mine and not even contemplate an E70.

Welcome also from me again. I see you have met the riff raff as well again.

That red 4.8 was indeed nice. You are the first big petrol e70 that I am aware off.

Westside's got an E70 4.8 sport with some crazy mods.

Big engines petrol engines are seriously the way forward.
