And its goodbye from him......................

Post by pvw10 » Mon Jul 30, 2012 10:24 am

Oh well all time to say good bye.

Bought the X5 new in 2003 and with all the toys i got little change from £53k, every year since its always cost me something, its the most annoyingly/loveable car i have owned, shameful rearlly at just how poor they are, this forum says it all.

But a great drive, still looks great, always a pleasure to drive and i will miss her. Thanks to all on this forum whom have helped me, its been a pleasure.
Hope you guys and gals keep up the good work,

Cheers

Paul

No need to say good bye as its only the X that's being sold.

What you getting to replace it?

I know the feeling - I absolutely loved mine too, but the niggles with it were a pain considering the cost and market position.  In the end economics of running two X's got to us and it was replaced with a Mini.

No need to leave the forum though - I don't have an E53 any more but at least some of the things I've learned can be helpful to others (wait for the chorus of 'rubbish' from the usual suspects... :P )

Mine is going tonight at around 430pm

Sold mine on Ebay for £3600 with No Reserve it ended last night at 7pm, having spent £2,000 on it last few months, just happy to see it go.

So its goodbye from me and goodbye from him.

Tim

I may be back in the future though...

Shame Tim.

Mine £6500.00 part ex.

Yes you guys are right it may be worth keeping an eye on things, what have i bought ? Well my M3 cost me a sensor in three years so know they make fine cars plus my Son is a Service Advisor at a main stealer so i would be daft buying anything but a Bmw, so i bought a Porsche  :))
