Hi Guys - 1st post on this forum. Looking to buy a nice 4.8i. The dealer has mailed me a copy of the service book and the first service was carried out at 27k in April 2010. The car is a 57 plate reg in Nov 07. I have queried this and the dealer - non franchised has said that it's due to the type of oil used in the 4.8i engine. Sounds a bit of a story to me, so does anybody have a 4.8i and know the answer.
Also - do all models come with electric folding mirrors? - This car has dynamic pack

Normal service would be at approx 18,000 miles or so or two years, whichever comes first. Going from that timeline and mileage the first service was (or appears to be) rather late on both counts as it would have been expected around Nov '09.
Not all cars have folding mirrors so defo worth asking if fitted as it can vary from year to year. Sometimes included, sometimes not..... If you can get the last 7 characters of the VIN then you can find out exactly what is fitted to a car of interest..
Post #4 on this thread tells you what to put in and where, then select 'options' at the top of the screen and all the info on the car will appear including build date and fitted options.
