Bumper repair

Post by LFP » Wed Feb 15, 2012 6:32 pm

So after a rubbish day at work I came home to be greeted with this on my previously unmarked X5;

Brilliant.

I made my day better by punching myself in the face.

Recommendations for bodyshops in SW London anyone?

Damn and really had luck. I recommend SCR in Ashford Middlesex. Phil is excellent.

That's a real bummer! There are some real anti-social and uncaring folks out there who would create merry hell if it ever happened to them of course!

Tother half came back to find someone had left a dent in the bonnet of her E46 a few weeks back. At a guess it was someone in a large-ish van/4x4 getting out of a parking bay. Looks like we can get at it by removing the grilles, but it's still going to need a paint job. Bastids!!

Bumper repair

Gotta feel for you. Mine had almost exactly the same last year or so ago. Came out of a Homebase and some toe rag had scraped the bumper and buggered off.

Luckily enough I had a friend in the trade who recommended someone to me who unfortunately has since retired. I had it done for under a £100 and it was a great job.

I'm not so far from South West London but alas that contact is no longer. I do wish you luck and hope you get it sorted :-)

If no personal recommendations turn up here, guess you could give http://www.chipsaway.co.uk/ a go...

Hope you get it sorted as can imagine how that is grating you  :(
