Outside temp & Still heated seats problems

Post by deckie77 » Wed Jul 25, 2012 10:47 am

According to my outside temperature reading it has been a steady 16.5 degrees in Aberdeenshire for a week now, day or night, rain or shine, anybody seen this before?? know of a fix???

Also using this post tohopefully get some ideas (without being charged 80 quid an hour at BMW) as to why both heated seats have went on the blink at the same time, must be a common fault between the 2 seats as i have checked all multiplugs under seats are secure, no signs on a broken wire there either, but when i try to turn on either seat the relevant 3 green lights come on for a second then all 3 go off again, any ideas appreciated.

Deckie.

Check fuses 32 and 53 in the glovebox. If they are fine, you may have a heating element gone on you.

Hope it's the fuses...
