Which spark plugs?
Which spark plugs?
Hi all. Next job in line for the x5 is rocker cover gasket so i thought i might as well do the spark plugs at the same time. Iv been looking on ECP and there are a few different ones on there. So my question is which ones should i go for?
Re: Which spark plugs?
Good question but that many different options that a lot will be down to personal preference or experience with no definitive answer!
Lots of good deals on ebay for NGK etc - i am considering same as a good spark is even more essential for lpg running. I have been advised NGK platinum or Denso plugs by my lpg installer.

Which spark plugs?
I am going for the NGK iridiums. My X5 is getting a full tune up which is inspection II next week. I bought all the parts to include air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, pollen filter and spark plugs and full synthetic oil. I asked a few friends and mechanics in stateside and they recommended the iridium NGKs so i got those.

Re: Which spark plugs?
I got Bosch in mine, seem perfectly fine and cheap enough.
Iridium are 'longer life' but ill change my plugs every 2 years regardless.
On a side note ,ECP don't sell the rubber seals for the bolts, only the actual gasket itself, so worth checking out BMW dealer prices also.
